SendGrid.com Email

Sendgrid.com is the Email service used by your SiteNinja CMS website. The areas of your website that use Sendgrid.com are

1) Contact Us page

2) Profile Registration

3) Blog Comments

4) Newsletter Module

5) Custuom forms.  

You will only have a Sendgrid account if you have the Newsletter module, otherwise all your outgoing Email is delivered through a common site-ninja.com Email account. 

Contact Us page Email

  1. To edit Email settings on your Contact Us page, log into your website Admin area
  2. Click the "Settings" menu
  3. Click the "Inquiry Form" menu tab
  4. There are fields to update the Reply Email, Subject, and Message in the Email

Newsletter Email

  1. To edit Email settings on your Contact Us page, log into your website Admin area
  2. Click the "Settings" menu
  3. Click the "Advanced" menu tab
  4. At the bottom of the Advanced page, you will see settings for SendGrid.com.  Please do not change these settings unless you 1st notify SiteNinja support, support@site-ninja.com.  If you change these settings, your Newsletter Email and Contact Us page Email will NOT work.
  5. By default, your Newsletter Email will use the username portion of the Email in this field as the From Name in all your Emails
  6. To view the stats of your outgoing Email, you need to log into your Sendgrid.com account
    1. www.sendgrid.com
    2. username: use the Email address in the field located in your Admin/Settings/Advanced page
    3. password: your password was Emailed to you when your site became live
  7. Common Stats you have with SendGrid.com are:
    1. Total Emails sent per day
    2. Bounced Emails, with specific reasons why they bounced
    3. Open Emails
    4. Click Through Emails - where your recipient clicked on a link back to your website
